We had a great day at Killary Adventure Centre in Galway. Below is a short clip featuring some of the activities which doesn’t include the cliff jumping, raft building or gorge walking but nevertheless gives a flavour of the day. Background music is Thaxted by Gustav Holst, the tune for ‘World in Union’ which we performed with the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland in February.
The girls of Gortskehy National School are delighted to have reached the county final of the Cumann na mBunscol football competition. The final, against Bofield N.S., Attymas will be played in McHale Park, Castlebar on Saturday, June the 11th at 12pm. We congratulate the girls on reaching this year’s final and wish Mollie, Amy, Diane, Nicola, Rebecca, Marie, Rachel, Orla and Toni the very best of luck. They would love to have your support on the day.

In February 2011 we performed with the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland in the Royal Theatre, Castlebar. We were practising since the previous October and here is a video of the performance.
