This video shows some of the other activities we have enjoyed in the Basque Country – visit to Santurtziko Maritime Museum, Puente Colgante (the first ferry bridge in the world), Guggenheim museum and Athletic de Bilbao stadium. We are so grateful to our hosts for showing us such a fantastic time.
We visited the school today and were greeted by the mayor. In the afternoon we hiked in Goikomendi-Kuxkumendi National Park. It was a lovely day! 🙂
We have arrived safely in Bilbao. One of the banners read “Welcome Home” and there’s no better way to describe the welcome we received from the teachers and host families.
Our flight to Bilbao was delayed but everyone is in good spirits and finally getting ready to board.
