To complete our Christmas concert in @Garrymore the pupils sang Daidí na Nollag, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Do You Hear What I Hear?, We Wish You a Merry Christmas and Merry Christmas Everyone. The children performed so well and we are all very proud of them.
Philip yawns all day long! Why? Because he can’t resist gazing at the stars all night! The other children complain that his sleepiness ruins their games. But one night when Philip is busy stargazing he spots a moving star, and he can’t resist following it. While everyone else is asleep, Philip is busy meeting shepherds, sheep, angels and wise men – and then a baby king! It was one exciting adventure.

Djembe drums originated in Africa. They are made with a wooden shell and a head made from animal hide, usually it belongs to a goat. Lukasz came to our school to teach us about the djembe and others drums. We played the drums and sang songs. We had lots of fun. We made the video in school. Evan from fourth class is speaking as Mr. Turtle and the presenter is me, Clíona, from sixth class.
Here we are playing our Christmas carols – Away in a Manger, The little Drummer Boy and Silent Night.
Merry Christmas to everyone and a Happy New Year.
Here are some pictures Thomas took of the first snow we had last week. Click the play button below to hear us sing ‘Silent Night’ and play tin whistle, guitar, violin and keyboard.
That was great!!! Well done all.
Super!
