To inspire the pupils to take an interest in computer science, physics and mathematics and to motivate them to develop their skills in these areas the children are introduced to computer programming from 3rd class upwards. From MissionV to Scratch to creating HTML5 games the children learn problem solving, logic and basic skills in maths. Whether or not a child moves on to have a career in programming, the skills he/she learns are useful for many subject areas. These include learning to manage complex systems, planning and coming up with strategies and learning how to diagnose and troubleshoot problems. As our pupils create and share online games they learn important mathematical and computational ideas while also learning how to think creatively, reason systematically and work collaboratively.

You can use the up and down and the side keys to move and you use the mouse to shoot. If you die you can press the space bar and start again. This time try and beat your high score. Click on the game then press the spacebar to continue. Click here to view a touch and full screen version of our game.
