Full planning permission has been granted for the school extension and next week the contract specification will be published on https://e-tender.ie.  We hope that we won't have to ask parents for funds but instead encourage each household to take part and help organise one fundraising event next year. We plan on organising one event each month and not all targeted at the same group of people.

Following the Christmas concert this month we hope to hold a table quiz at Tierney's of Foxhall in January. Other ideas that have been suggested include the following: jumble sale, colour run, raffle, card game, Fun Day for Kids at Claremorris athletics track, Dinner Night, Donate a Dress night, 50/50 lotto, Tesco bag packing, cake sale.    

In January we will have a public meeting at the school to organise some or all of the above events.  In the meantime, if anyone has any other suggestions please let us know.
