Science Week 2023
This week, 1st & 2nd class carried out a number of simple experiments to celebrate Science Week 2023. The children had a lot of fun making predictions & writing /drawing about the experiments.
We covered:
“Skittles” Experiment – colour mixing“Dancing Raisins” Experiment – floating/sinking “Rain clouds in a Jar” Experiment – water cycle “Gummy Bear” Experiment – water absorption/osmosisScience Week is always a great opportunity for the kids to engage with science through fun & engaging activities. They had a lot of fun.
